To install the SD flash module, you must first power-down the system and remove the

chassis front cover and front bezel.

1. Remove the front chassis cover. For instructions, see “Removing the Front Cover” in

Section 3.2.

2. Remove the front panel bezel from the chassis to access the optical device slot.

3. Unfasten the black protective cover over the front panel board.

4. Remove the filler panel from the front on the server chassis. (Figure 47, “A”) and

save the two screws for use with the SD flash module bracket.

Slide the filler panel out of the chassis through the front. (“B”)

5. Line up the SD flash module with the stand-offs on the bracket and secure the

module with the two hex screws in the package. (Figure 48, “A” and “B”)
