4. Secure the six-slot HDD backplane in place by placing the cover plate over the HDD

bay assembly.

The cover plate goes over the HDD bay notches and then slides to the right.

Re-fasten the screw that holds the cover plate in place. (See Figure 68, “A” for

the location.)

5. Re-install the SAS/SATA control module or SAS/SATA hardware RAID module, if used,

and the sheet metal bracket.

For instructions, see either Section 4.3, “Installing a SAS/SATA Control Module“ or

Section 4.4, “Installing a Hardware RAID Module”.

6. Re-attach the front panel bezel. For instructions, see “Re-Installing the Front

Bezel” in Section 3.2

7. If this is the last task you are performing inside the server chassis, replace the

front top chassis cover, reconnect the power cord(s), and reconnect any external

devices.
